A last-minute request to assist with the IT Service Desk student recruitment led to a simple, effective campaign to increase resume submissions. Requiring a quick turnaround, we focused on the basics: smiling student employees and distinct visuals.
To standout, we broke away from the traditional PSU blue and white to use B&W photos and a grey and yellow color scheme. Banners were placed in high traffic areas. Interior bus cards in CATA busses were added to our traditional mix of digital signs and Collegian ads. We also launched a new, easy-to-use website. Student Technology Services received a record high in resume submissions, a 40.35% increase above the 8-year average.
